To ensure all our customers receive the best product and service available we ask you to please be aware of and abide with the following policies:

All boneless venison must be fresh/frozen, boneless and clean. We reserve the right to refuse any venison that does not smell fresh, or is not cleaned properly. All boneless venison must be transported in a clean, clear plastic bag. Please do not use black garbage bags, non-food or dirty food containers to transport your boneless venison.

We inspect all boneless venison as it arrives. The venison is then inspected a second time by our sausage room personnel before any product is made. At RJ’s we pride ourselves on making quality sausage for our customers, using our own recipes that have won numerous National, State, and State Fair awards.


The hunter’s registration metal tag or DNR Customer # must be provided at time of order.

Deposits are required for all sausage orders. 50% of the order total is our custom.

IMPORTANT
We will call you as soon as your order is completed. We ask that you pick up your order within 3 days. All orders not picked up within two weeks of the calling date will be charged a $5 per week freezer fee. Customer is responsible for verifying that the telephone/contact information we have listed on his order is correct.

Due to the volume we take in, it is not possible to give an estimated completion date. Processing times are determined by date received and also by product batching. We will call you as soon as your full order is ready.

Our prices are based on "stuffed" weight before smoking. Average weight loss in smoking is 10% on most linked sausages and summer sausage. 30% shrink is to be expected on snack sticks, and 50% shrink on jerky. Minimums do apply, 10lbs "stuffed" weight per sausage Nov-Feb and 25lb Mar-Oct. We add pork to all sausages, matching venison weight pound for pound. Example would be 5lbs venison trim we would add 5lbs pork to equal 10lbs "stuffed" weight.
