Fresh, Free Range Thanksgiving Turkey

Fresh Turkeys are only available for Thanksgiving. Our fresh turkeys are from 3rd generation turkey farmer John Peterson, owner of Ferndale Turkey Farm near Cannon Falls Minnesota. John takes great pride and care in the turkeys he raises. John's turkeys grow naturally, without the use of antibiotics or artificial growth promotants. During temperate months, free range turkeys are rotated on fresh pasture and have access to clean air and fresh grass. Their feed consists primarily of fresh ground corn and soybean meal purchased from area farms. It also contains an ideal balance of vitamins, minerals, amino acids as well as probiotics, yeast and natural herbs that work in tandem with nature to maintain excellent health.

We will begin accepting pre orders online for Thanksgiving on Saturday October 31 2026. 

Please note:  Ferndale Turkey Farm uses a "deep chill fresh" process that keeps all turkeys right at 32°F. Because of this an ice shell may form. We advise picking up your turkey a day or two early to allow time for the ice shell to dissipate in your home fridge.
